In 2011, MAF Engineering Construction took on the construction of Banuitalaban Dam in Erbil Governorate's Koya city, commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture. The project was one of the largest undertaken by MAF. The dam body, which was earth-filled, was 305m in length, 21m in height, and 17m spillway width, with the capacity to store over 3,000,000 cubic meters of water for use in the agricultural and tourism sectors. The project was completed successfully, further demonstrating MAF's expertise in large-scale construction and commitment to supporting the development of critical infrastructure in the region.
